UWC replacement preparation

February 24th, Dales caravan park UWC, Leyburn

Removal of the trees has opened up the cutting.

Looking west on arrival, very wet day.

 

Difficult to see due to the fire but a lot of trees were felled.

The crossing sign on the right can barely be seen before the hawthorn was removed. Looking west towards Leeming Bar.

Weather wasn't good again, looking East towards Bedale work has just begun.

 

A very brief blue sky, trees have been cleared on the right to allow sunlight on to the track bed.
