Bedford Bruff in action

June 12th, Blind lane - Finghall

Turntable base is lined up in the four foot

 

 

      The base is then pushed down using the hydraulics

                                                                                                           

   

Once raised, the bruff is turned with the wheels in line with the track

 

     The rail wheels are then lowered in position

June 9th, Leyburn west

 

Just west of Leyburn station looking towards Redmire, before.

 

Removal was concentrated to the south side.

These group of trees need to be removed for on-going earthworks.
