Due to much workload I have had little opportunity to update the website lately, however I am leaving a set of photos from ballasting works from 2008 on the this page. Check the July - August page for up to date photos.

 

Ballasting

Friday 13th June 2008, West of Wensley

 

Loading the ballast at Redmire, Mike makes a start

 

Mike was too slow so we got the machine on the job

 

The train is loaded and ready to go

 

The train was moved up near Wensley, the ballast was then dropped as the train crept forward

 

That will keep the rabbits off!
