A total of 16 sleepers were changed

Friday 18th July through till Saturday 19th

The Friday night gang spent a good 12 hrs replacing a total of 31 sleepers, in order to increase line speed on a particular section of track.

Work started at 18:00hrs, at 18:03 Adrian is seen here full of enthusiasm

In the early hours, the pace had started to slow but an end was in sight.

With sleeper no. 31 in and packed, the temporary speed restriction could removed from that section

All done and heading back towards Leeming at 8:00 on Saturday morning
