Saturday 30th Oct, Morton Flats
Digging out the old sleepers before removal
The new sleepers are set out, whilst the track bed is prepared.
27 sleepers were replaced today, making it a total of 700 changed this year. Many thanks to all those who have donated to the track fund, meaning we are able to keep the railway open and up to a good standard. We still need your help to buy more sleepers and track components in order to keep on top of the 50 years of neglect. please donate if you can :-)
